Rotherham United defender, Luke Foster told MillersPlayer that he was very pleased with the win on Saturday at Don Valley.

After making his first League start of the season, the former Oxford United players said, 'After looking like it was going to be a tough season for me, I was pleased to get back into the team on Saturday.

'It was a much needed win and a clean sheet so there are positives to take from the game and we will just build on it now which is the main thing.

'It`s always good to get three points because it eases the pressure a little bit but we are still focussed because we`ve got that win and we want to get another now.

Asked about starting just in front of the back four, the twenty-six year old said, 'Jaybo (Jason Taylor) dropped back against Northampton and did so well I don`t think there was any need to change that. Obviously, the option was there if the gaffer wanted to do that but we`d worked on it so we knew, more or less, where we would be playing. I think it`s my preferred position really, just doing the dirty work, which I quite like doing.`

Being a versatile player, Fozzy, said that sometimes it can be a hindrance because you haven`t cemented a particular position. 'Really, I think it should stand you in good stead and the gaffer knows he can bring me on in a number of positions or, if people need to be moved about, I can do that because I`m quite versatile like that. But, as long as I`m playing and helping the team I`m not really fussed where I play.`

Speaking about the FA Cup tie on Saturday at Barrow, Luke said, 'I scored the winner up there the last time I was there although I`ve had a couple of ups and downs up there. It`s a non-league ground and the stand is very close to the pitch, opposite to Don Valley, and the crowd will get at you and give you a bit of stick. But as long as the fans get behind us and things are going our way we won`t have to worry too much about them. Sometimes it`s not a nice place to go but we`ve got to just concentrate on what we do, not worry too much about them and hopefully we`ll come away with a win.`
