'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Harley here 'til January

Rotherham United have confirmed today that defender, Jon Harley`s loan has been extended until 2nd January next year, although he will not be available for this weekends FA Cup clash with Barrow.

Harley, who originally joined for a month from Notts County, said that he has enjoyed his time here.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, the thirty-two year old said, 'It`s something I wanted to do. I spoke with the Manager and fortunately the two clubs agreed to it. I don`t think I`ve really got a future at Notts County and it`s been good for me to come here and get games and, if there is something permanent at the end of it, we will have to see what happens. It`s been important for me to get away and play games to show that I`m still around

'I`ve enjoyed my time here and wanted to stay another couple of months. It was good to finally get the win on Saturday and hopefully it will start to become more enjoyable. We`d gone three games unbeaten and on Saturday we finally got that win and kept a clean sheet as well so it worked out everyway with the forwards scoring goals and the defence doing their jobs too. We`ve finally got a building block to carry on because we aren`t too far away from the teams above us which is good.`
