RUFC - Evans blow for Millers

Rotherham United's in-form player, Gareth Evans could be facing a long lay off after picking up, what could be a serious, foot injury in the first half of today's win at Valley Parade.

The twenty-three year old had to go off after, what looked to us Millers fans, a terrible challenge from City's Michael Flynn on twelve minutes.

Speaking after the three-two win, Manager, Andy Scott told Radio Sheffield, 'It's not good. He's got a swollen ankle which will need to be looked at. It's a massive blow , not just for him coming back to his old club, but for us today because he is a major part of what we do.'

Initials thoughts are that the former Bradford player has a broken bone in his foot but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
