'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Manager delighted for Logan

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said he was delighted for 'keeper, Conrad Logan today.

After making mistakes in the last couple of games, Conrad kept his cool this afternoon and saved a last minute penalty.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after Logan helped the Millers to three points over Bradford City, Scott said, 'I think everyone forgets he's still a young lad.

'He's come from a Championship club although he's played quite a lot of games at this level but when goalkeepers make mistakes it usually costs a goal.

'We spoke to him this week and told him we didn't want him to do anything spectacular and just to do his job but when it came down to it, we needed him to be spectacular at the end to save the penalty.

'I'm delighted for him because he's never stopped working hard and he's desperate to do well for the football club and if you keep working hard then you get your just rewards.'
