'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - The Twigg family happy to be involved

Rotherham United and Pukka Pies have been together for thirty years and the association will continue with the West Stand of the new ground being sponsored by Eric Twigg Foods.

Managing Director of Eric Twigg foods, Matthew Twigg has told MillersPlayer that he is delighted to be on board.

'I've supported Rotherham United all my life and so has my dad. We've been in partnership with the club for thirty years and we are proud to be the first sponsors in the new ground.

'It's nice to get the main stand - it looks phenomenal. Little old Rotherham are suddenly moving in the right direction and us fans have a lot to thank Tony Stewart for.

'Rotherham United were the first club that we dealt with, although there are many now, and it's become part of a match day for many of the fans so we've a lot to thank them for.

Asked how important he thinks it is for companies to become involved with the new stadium, Matthew said, 'I think it's very important. It's not just about the club, it's about Rotherham as a town and I think local businesses should be involved.'
