RUFC - Injured trio back for New Year?

Rotherham United are expecting to have their three long-term injured players back for the New Year.

Millers Manager, Andy Scott first spoke about Gareth Evans, telling MillersPlayer, We haven't really got any time-scale on him but he should be picking the rehab up pretty soon. It's really just a case of how quickly he recovers from the injury and how he can step up the rehab. We are pushing him all the time and making sure we look after him because we don't want him to come back too early and have a set-back. But there's no reason why he can't move on rapidly now.

'It's unlikely that Ryan Cresswell or Mark Bradley will play in the next reserve game which is on the 19th. Bradders has started to join in the warm-up and will probably start to join in training around the 19th on non-contact and we'll see how he goes and see how long after that we can get him in full training. That will be a big bonus for us because he's been a big miss.

'Hopefully, Cress should also be joining in that week as well and we'll see how he progresses and what his fitness levels are like. We've looked at different aspects of his rehab and seen what we can do better to give him the best opportunity to come back. So far it looks like it's working but we won't really know until he's on the training ground where he'll be working with Denis for about ten days before he comes back into full training. We're working on both their fitnesses at the moment and will be hoping they won't be too far off when they do get back into training.'
