RUFC - Monday is naming day
Rotherham United have called a press conference for Monday afternoon to announce the name of the new stadium.
With Chairman, Tony Stewart saying earlier this week that the stadium would be before Christmas, today he told the Official Site, 'After several months of consultation we are now delighted to be in a position to give our supporters an early Christmas present.
'Several names were brought up in our discussions, and we received many great suggestions from our fan base and colleagues, but one name stood out from the crowd, with good reason, and we are delighted with our final choice.'
The fans have been keeping a daily eye on the build of the new stadium via the webcam and there are three quarters of the steel structure now in place.
Along with the media and Chairman on Monday Honorary Ambassador Howard Webb will be present to finally reveal the name.
