RUFC - Williams working hard

Rotherham United striker, Brett Williams may well have got into the side by 'de-fault` but, according to his Manager, Andy Scott, he`s taken the chance and made an impact.

The twenty-four year old is on loan to the Millers from Reading, although he himself has been injured, and got into the side when Chris Holroyd was sidelined due to illness.

Speaking to The Star, Scott said, 'Chris got in the side and lost his place due to illness. Brett came in, made an impact, scored and he`s worked extremely hard and is a team player in both penalty areas.

'I`ve spoken to Chris about what we expect and Brett has come into the side and done those things. We`re not into having luxury players, we want everyone to contribute and Brett Williams is working very hard, not only for the team, but throughout the week.`

Brett`s loan spell with the Millers ends on 3rd January and Andy Scott is set to speak to Reading about a possible extension to the loan.
