RUFC - No Joy for Big Guy

RUFC - No Joy for Big Guy

Rotherham United`s on-loan defender, Guy Branston is unlikely to play football again until after his loan spell with the Millers has ended.

Guy, who joined the Millers for three months from Bradford City which runs out in January, was red-carded in his first game against Bristol Rovers and then limped out of the game against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup loss.

Speaking to the Official Site, Millers Manager, Andy Scott said, 'Guy is going to see a consultant again because he is still struggling.`

It was thought that Guy was on the mend but then according to Scott, the thirty-one year old 'hit a brick wall` in his progress.

'The diagnosis, at the moment, is that he probably won't be fit until after his loan finishes,` Scott said, 'We are maybe now looking at him going back to Bradford and continuing his treatment there then assessing it after that.`
