RUFC - Mullins 'mystery' illness

Rotherham United defender, Johnny Mullins took a blow in the face this afternoon when he blocked a shot from a Macclesfield player, which, after a few minutes, saw him leave the field of play looking very unsteady on his feet.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after the goalless draw this afternoon, Millers Manager, Andy Scott said, 'Johnny Mullins doesn`t remember anything.

'At half-time there was no sign there was a problem then he went down and couldn`t see anything and he felt like the game was going at two or three times the speed it was. He was really disorientated and all over the show.

'So we had to shuffle the pack very quickly and we shall have to look at the DVD and see if he did take a whack. It`s obviously a worry but Troy (Brown) came on and dealt with things pretty well and won some excellent headers and anticipated well and I was pleased.`

And there was me thinking it was the blow to the face he took when blocking the ball - although, to be fair, I was sat at the side and not exactly in line with the incident
