'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Macclesfield

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said he thought his side had the better chances yesterday and was particularly happy with the clean sheet.

After the nil-nil draw, Macclesfield Manager, Gary Simpson was pleased with his teams work ethic on the day.

Speaking to Macclesfield's Official Site, Simpson said, 'It was always going to be a difficult game because the conditions were difficult with the wind blowing straight down the pitch which made it a different game first and second half.

'Rotherham are in good form and I think they've only lost one in the last six or seven. They are a good side with some good players.

'We had some good spells and after the game I thought we took the game to them and the front lads were working their socks off again but things didn't quite work out.'

What do you think? Which team was the better yesterday? Come and tell us, here on Vital Rotherham what your thoughts are ...
