'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott 'seeing a light at end of tunnel'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says that his players are determined to keep in touch with the top teams in League Two.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Scott said, 'There`s a determination among the players to make sure we stay in touch and start picking teams off.

'It`s a busy time for us and we need to balance work and rest but we are ready for it.

'There`s some big games coming up over the New Year and, if we can get a positive result against Cheltenham and then another against Bradford, it will put us in a really good position to get ready for the Swindon game on 14th January.`

The Millers travel to Cheltenham, who are in second place, tomorrow evening and Scott said that it will be a good challenge. 'We seem to respond against the sides at the top,` he said, 'although we haven`t picked up as many points as we`d like from those games but we seem to play better. We know we have to improve in certain areas but we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel and, during the last twelve or fifteen games we have been getting there.`
