'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Former Miller's future looking bleak

Former Rotherham United midfielder, Gary Roberts is in trouble with his current club, Port Vale, over what they describe as a 'serious breach of club discipline.`

The twenty-four year old hasn`t played for Vale since November after he was suspended for failing to turn up for training and the club say that the latest investigation is 'of a sensitive nature.`

Gary was with the Millers from November 2009 until April 2010 making fifteen appearances and scoring three goals - one a cracker from the half-way line at Valley Parade which helped the Millers to a four-two victory. His last game for Rotherham was in a one-one draw at Don Valley where he had a very good game but saw a second yellow in the final minute of the game for a bit of a bad tackle on Lathaniel Rowe-Turner. After serving his suspension he had a shoulder injury which kept him out. The club sacked Gary for 'a serious breach of club discipline` in April 2010 with then Manager, Ronnie Moore saying 'it`s not only once this has happened, it's been several occasions and enough is enough.`

Gary joined Port Vale in August last year.

Fool to himself I'm afraid. Such a shame too because he has some real talent
