'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Cheltenham Town

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said that, he thought, the better team had lost on Friday night at Whaddon Road.

After the one-nil win by Cheltenham Town over the Millers, Robins Manager, Mark Yates told Radio Gloucestershire, 'It wasn't pretty but we ground it out and it was a great strike from Marlon (Pack) for the goal and you aren't going to win games with flowing football all the time.

'We perhaps could have got a second but it's a great win for us on a Friday night. We dealt with a lot of long balls up to their two strikers who were excellent and caused us problems and, as much as they've put the ball in the box against us, which they did ever so well, Scotty (Brown) hasn't had a point blank save to make. The kid, (Alex) Revell is very good at what he does and he's got (Lewis) Grabban alongside him who's a right handful and they are a really good side, but so are we. We stuck bodies on the line and got better as a defensive unit in the second half.'
