RUFC - Scott hoping to do deals with duo

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott is hoping that talks with both Notts County and Brentford go well so that he can hang onto Jon Harley and Sam Wood as their loan spells with the Millers come to an end.

Speaking to Les Payne of The Star about Harley, Scott said, 'Financially, we`re nowhere near the deal he`s got there but we`re keeping a close eye on things. If he isn`t let go then there becomes the possibility of a loan again but we`re fluid over the situation.`

Speaking about Wood, Scott said, 'Brentford are looking to let him go so we`ll see if we can agree something with the lad.`

As Brett Williams didn`t join the Millers until the end of August his loan spell, from Reading, doesn`t run out until the end of this month.
