RUFC - Rhys Thanks Dad!

Rotherham United's latest loanee, Rhys Taylor admitted that it had been a bit of a whirlwind few days after he kept a clean sheet in the Millers three-nil win over Bradford City on Saturday.

Rhys, who was at home in Wales on New Years Day, joined Rotherham from Chelsea on Monday morning, dashing to Don Valley in time to put the number one shirt on and take his place between the posts.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after the game, the twenty-one year old said, 'It's been crazy.

'I've known about it for a few days but I didn't get a call until three yesterday (Sunday) afternoon when I was still in Wales. I had a two hundred miles drive from South Wales to London because I only had enough clothes for three days and I didn't have any boots or gloves with me. And then I had to drive up here. I got some help from my dad and without him I don't think I'd have been able to do it and so it's a big thanks to him.'
