'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott on defenders move

Rotherham United defender, Troy Brown has gone on loan to fellow League Two side, Aldershot Town until the end of the season.

The twenty-one year joined the Millers in the summer, on a two-year deal, after becoming a free agent when he rejected an offer from his then current club Ipswich Town.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Millers Manager, Andy Scott said, 'We've agreed a deal with Aldershot for them to take Troy down there for the remainder of the season.

'He's had a bit of a stop/start season what with going away with Wales and coming back and not getting in the side so we feel this is a good move for him to get some games in before the end of the season and we'll reassess it again in the summer.
'There's been a big of an issue with him settling up North so going back down South to play games will hopefully re-ignite his desire to play football and will hopefully do well enough that he wants to come back and play for us.'
