RUFC - Wood future 'up in air'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott has made no secret of the fact that he`d like to keep loanee winger, Sam Wood. And, the twenty-five year old says that he wouldn`t mind coming back to play for the Millers.

Sam, who is back at Brentford after his loan spell with the Millers is now up, made seven appearances for the League Two game, scoring the winner against AFC Wimbledon in December at Don Valley.

Speaking to the Hounslow, Heston and Whitton Chronicle, Sam said, 'I thought I did well at Rotherham and have spoken to Andy Scott and something might happen this month. But, it all depends on my situation at Brentford and what is planned for me. I`ve not spoken to the gaffer yet (Uwe Rosler) but he didn`t want me to go out on loan in the first place. But I needed to play games.

'I might go back to Brentford and do well in training and force my way back into the first team, but, at the moment, my future is up in the air.`
