'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Swindon Town

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said his team got what they deserved on Saturday against Swindon Town - which was nothing.

Meanwhile, Town Manager, Paolo Di Canio said that he thought the two-one win was a crucial victory.

Speaking to the Robins' Official Site, Di Canio said, 'This is the game that could change things for us in the season. The players did a good job and I am delighted with the win which we deserved.

'Rotherham had few chances and we defended with hard work and sustained a lot of pressure in the second half and it was a fantastic win in the way it came because Rotherham pushed hard and to play forty minutes under pressure wasn't easy but my players have been like warriors.

Asked how he went on having to sit in the stands and not on the bench, the Italian said, 'It was different. I kept shouting so it was difficult at times and I was sat a long way from the pitch too. At the end it was an explosion of emotion because I was so pleased with that result.'
