RUFC - Lewis going nowhere

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says that striker, Lewis Grabban is going nowhere.

With it looking like Crawley Town are going to put in another bid for the Millers' top goal scorer, Scott said that, although there had been conversations between the Millers and other clubs, he won't be selling Grabban. 'I wouldn't be able to replace him,' Scott said.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post before the defeat on Saturday, Scott said, 'I have spoken to Lewis and the Chairman and we are all of the same opinion.'

The Millers have already rejected a bid of around 100,000 from Crawley and it is thought that they have or are about to up that bid.

Scott did say that, in the future, they might not be able to hold onto Grabban, 'If Lewis finishes the season as he started it, he will end up with twenty-five goals and there will be Championship and top League One clubs in for him this summer.,' he said. 'At that stage, we would have a struggle.'
