RUFC - Changes for Saturday?

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said that he is considering changes for the trip to Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday.

Speaking to MillersPlayer today, Scott said, 'We need a much better performance than last week. It wasn't acceptable and all the lads knew that. Everyone we've got is available for selection.

'First and foremost they've got to work hard and do the basics right. We defended pretty solidly although we gave away a ridiculous penalty and, though they weren't good on the day, we made a mistake in the penalty box which led them to winning the game. It's happening too many times and too many people are making mistakes over and over again which cost us.'

The Millers played a Reserve game on Monday against a strong Doncaster side which allowed some of the injured players to play ninety minutes.

'The game went well,' Scott said. 'Cresswell and Bradley were able to get some minutes under their belt. Richard Naylor played and Jamie Annerson got fifteen minutes at the end. It was a good work-out and the lads applied themselves particularly well and there were some good performances which has given me food for thought.

'Scott Griffiths is as close as possible to playing a full ninety minutes. We've given him extra work in training this week. On Saturday he got to sixty minutes and started to feel it a little bit but he probably could have gone on five minutes longer but we didn't want to get him to a point where we couldn't work him this week. So, we feel he will get as close to ninety minutes as we can get him for this coming Saturday.'
