'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott 'I'm hurting but I'll fight'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott, says that he wants to be a success at the club.

Speaking after a week of 'grumbles` from fans Scott told The Advertiser that he was 'hurting.`

'The Chairman doesn`t need to come out in the press and support me, 'Scott said, 'because I have conversations with him near enough every day.

'I`m hurting, especially after Saturday. I want to be a success here and the only way to do that is to win football matches. As a manager no one is fire proof. We go into this job with our eyes wide open. It`s a fickle business and everyone wants results.

'It`s difficult but do you sit down and let everyone trample all over you and accept failure or do you stand up and fight? Well I`ll fight. In time we will turn this around but I can`t just say that, we`ve got to prove it on the pitch.`
