RUFC - Scott still hoping to strengthen squad

Join The Vital Debate

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says he is still hoping to strengthen areas of the team.

Speaking to MillersPlayer today, Scott said, 'With Chris (Holroyd) going and if Brett Williams goes then we are looking to strengthen in that area of the squad and bring a centre-forward in.

'We had a couple lined up who it looked like we would get but they ended up going to a League One club but we are hopeful we can get a centre-forward in which would be a big boost to us. Kieron (Cadogan) can play up front but ideally we want him playing wide so it's an area we need to strengthen.'

Asked about midfielder Josh O'Keefe who has been training with the Millers, Scott said, 'He played forty-five minutes on Monday and has done well in training and was a good lad to have around but he's no better than what we've got.'
