RUFC - Mullins should make it for Friday

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says that he is preparing his squad in the hope the game will be on at Southend on Friday.

As the temperatures are forecast to plummet over the next few days, the game must be in doubt but we probably won`t know anymore until Thursday.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Scott said, 'Johnny Mullins is certainly in with a shout of playing on Friday.

'The fact that we didn`t play at the weekend meant we were able to rest him for another couple of days and make sure that his hamstring was OK. He`ll train today.

'Gareth (Evans) has had a steroid injection in his back. He was getting to the point where he was near enough ready to train and then he was feeling the problem again.

'He will rest for a couple of days and come back in tomorrow. He`s seeing a specialist on Friday just to make sure that we`ve got it right and then he should be able to come back into training after that.`
