RUFC - Scott 'win, clean sheet, fantastic evening'

Rotherham United' Manager, Andy Scott says that the game on Friday was tough played on a tough surface and he was pleased to come away with all his side intact and no injury worries.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Scott said, 'We got a win and kept a clean sheet so all in all it was a fantastic evening but we are just thinking about the games that are coming up now because we've got to perform and get results.

'I think we are a lot more solid in what we are doing and, maybe in the last couple of games, we've sacrificed a little bit of flair and a bit of invention and been harder to beat and given ourselves the basis to go and build on. But, having said that, we conceded three goals at Dagenham so we have to keep working on that.

'We were poor against Port Vale and it got to the point where I wasn't going to suffer it anymore and we've made changed and brought a couple of players in and changed the way we are doing things a little bit. We created nineteen chances against Dagenham and fourteen against Southend so maybe the strong foundation to build from has given us a better platform to create chances.

'We've got a lot of games coming up in the next six weeks which gives us the opportunity to get moving.'
