'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Striker looking forward to tomorrow

Rotherham United`s latest loanee, Shaun Harrad has impressed so far with two goals in two games and is up against the club where he probably first came to the attention of football fans tomorrow, Burton Albion.

But, although he still has a lot of affection for the Brewers, the twenty-seven year old striker has said there will be no old pals act.

Speaking to The Advertiser this week, Shaun, who is on loan from Bury for a month, said, 'I`ve got a good relationship with the club and got some good memories from my time there. Burton is family-orientated and they keep a close knit bunch of lads together and the set-up is superb. I always look for their results because they`re close to my heart.

'They are an up and coming club and they are around the play-offs for a reason so we won`t be taking them lightly. I`m really looking forward to it. They`ve kept a good squad together and it will be tough but we`ve got the confidence to push on. It would be nice for Rotherham and Burton to go up. '

Speaking about his time so far with the Millers, which has seen two wins in two, Shaun said, 'The gaffer has been fantastic with me. I connected with the penalty on Tuesday night really well and, with a bit more luck, would have had a second but the 'keeper pulled off a great save.

'I was pleased to get another ninety minutes under my belt and tried my hardest to stay on the pitch because it was only my second game in a long time. I felt well off it but the lads pulled me through.`
