'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Mulls 'all hard work is finally paying off'

Rotherham United defender, Johnny Mullins says that all the hard work they have been doing in training is now coming to fruition.

Speaking to The Advertiser after the win over Accrington on Tuesday night, the twenty-six year old former Stockport player said, 'All the defenders have been working hard in training and we`ve worked hard as a back four. But, it`s not just all about us. It`s about the central-midfielder and with the two lads up front working so hard it gives us a platform to build off and squeeze up behind them.`

Mullins particularly picked out Richard Naylor who joined last month saying, 'he has a lot of experience and is a very wise head in there.`

Speaking about the club in general, Mulls said, 'A club of our stature in this league shouldn`t be in the position we are in. People haven`t been happy recently and rightly so. But now we`ve had a couple of good results and are nearer to where we want to be. We`ve spoken a lot about it and there`s a feeling within that we want to prove to people that we are good enough.`

In my eyes, Johnny Mullins, is already the Player of the Season. I don`t think I`ve ever seen him give less than one hundred per cent.
