Rotherham United season ticket holders should, by now, have received their 'Privilege Cards` and 'Welcome back to Rotherham packs` for next season when we move into the New York Stadium.
The club have invited existing season ticket holders to a presentation where they will be able to see the stadium`s facilities and seating options using a virtual 'flythrough` view of the entire stadium and will also be able to select their seats.
Prices have gone up, which, I suppose, with it being a new stadium was bound to happen, with adult season tickets starting at £340 which is an increase of around £30. Concession tickets start at £205 while Junior tickets (that`s children between the ages of 5 and 15) start from £105
In the East and West stands, the prices start at - Adult £375, Concessions £225 and Junior £130.
The club are introducing a direct debit scheme so fans can pay a deposit and spread the cost of their season ticket over a year.
Speaking to Les Payne of The Star, Millers Chairman, Tony Stewart said, 'After leaving Millmoor four years ago, we are finally returning to the heart of the town, to a new stadium which will delight our fans and help us grow financially. The future of Rotherham United has never been brighter and we want our most loyal fans to be there with us, which is why we are offering existing season ticket holders the early chance to secure the very best seats.`
The club are expecting the demand for season tickets to be high.
What do you think?
If you are already a season ticket holder will you be renewing?
Will you be getting season ticket for the first time?
