RUFC - Scott wants to take it one game at a time

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott is not getting carried away after his team find themselves going into today`s game with Burton Albion, in eighth position and three points off the play-off places.

Scott says, as yet, they are not on a 'Torquayesque run` after the Devon club have shot up to third place in the league after six straight wins, 'Look, no one is getting carried away, we`ve won two games but we`ve not cracked it,` he told The Star.

'This has to be the beginning of something that propels us where we want to be and whilst we are a way off the top six a winning run can take teams where they want to be. I think we are heading in the right direction but we certainly need to start getting more wins. I think it is important now that rather than look at where we might be if we do this, we should just concentrate on getting three points from the next game and then move on.

'We have to play teams around us and you can get wrapped up in that but let`s just concentrate on doing our jobs, doing what we`ve been good at these last three games. If we do that, with the energy, organisation and desire, we have shown, and then we can be a match for anyone.`
