Now we`ve got Shaun Harrad in on a months loan. Does that mean the Chairman is hedging his bets about the rest of the season?
In for a month, get goals, move up the table, possible play off place…..sign striker for longer. Or no goals, no wins, mid table….striker goes back.
Our expert sumariser on Radio Sheffield, a couple of games ago, hinted that Shaun may be a high earner therefore if we`re not in a position to try to push on it may be in the clubs interest to save money. If we are in a position to push on and the Chairman backs his manager again and signs him till the end of the season on loan.
One thing concerns me. If he`s here for a month, will he have to go back for two weeks until we can get him back for 93 days loan, to the end of the season and possible play off place. With the way Mr Harrad is scoring he`ll be attracting attention of other clubs as well. Is there then a chance he`ll go out elsewhere?
Could be brinkmanship by the Chairman. I`m sure he will get it right and we`ll be up there.
