'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott 'there's belief we can win'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said that he was pleased with his players reaction after the draw on Tuesday night at Gillingham.

Speaking to The Star, Scott said his team were 'gutted' that they'd not taken all three points and said, 'There`s a belief that we can win games and how we dominated the final half-hour yet didn`t win, is a bit of a mystery. It was a good point but, on the balance of things, we can probably consider it as two points dropped.'

Speaking to MillersPlayer today, Scott reflected, 'We would have liked to, and probably should, have won the game but it was a solid clean sheet. After a few scary moments at the start of the game, once we sorted ourselves out, we were very solid defensively and the back five did well.

'We certainly played some good stuff in the second half and, if we continue to do that, then we'll win more games than we draw.'
