'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Defender thought Millers were unfortunate

Rotherham United defender, Scott Griffiths was very disappointed about the last minute goal that won the game for Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

Speaking to Chris Jackson on the Official Site, the twenty-six year old, who is on loan from Peterborough, said, 'It was very disappointing as I thought we worked extremely hard throughout the game. We gave them very few chances and we were a bit unfortunate. I think they got that bit of luck near the end as I don't know how they got the cross in, so I do feel a little hard done by.`

Scott joined the Millers in January and has played seven games so far and saying he is happy how the team are playing defensively, said, 'Richard (Naylor) and Johnny (Mullins) are big, strong players and they give me confidence as we have good communication at the back which has showed in the last few games.

'They are a great bunch of lads here and, on a personal level, it`s been great to get back to full fitness. I want to start and finish as many games as possible to the end of the season. I wouldn't mind getting a goal, even it is just the one!`
