Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says he has spoken to Richie Barker, at Bury, about keeping striker Shaun Harrad for longer.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Scott said, 'Bury are going through a tough spell at the moment, although Andy Bishop is back playing now and they've got a lad on loan who scored for them last week so we are hopeful that Shaun can stay with us.

'Nothing is set in stone and the longer they go without a win then the chances are that he may go back so we are just going to have to keep persevering. We've got him for the next three games hope that we can extend, but it will be up to Bury.

'I've spoken to Shaun and he's happy that he's playing. He wants to be involved and enjoys it here so would be happy to stay and score more goals.

'He's done well for us though the last game was a bit of an off game for us but having not played for so long it's natural that you can have a bit of an off game and we understand that. He's got ability and he's important for us to try and keep around.'
