RUFC - Griffiths - one for the future?

RUFC - Griffiths - one for the future?

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott is looking towards next season and the players he wants in his squad.

One of them could well be Scott Griffiths who joined the Millers in January, from Peterborough, until the end of the season and has made seven appearances so far. Before joining the Millers he was in his second loan spell with near neighbours Chesterfield after signing for the Posh in January 2010.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Scott said, 'The more games he plays Scott is coming into his own more and more and he's done well for us. We will have to have a discussion at the end of the season but our priority now is to make sure we get as many points as possible.

'We've got a lot of players out of contract at the end of the season and next season will be an opportunity for me to get the players in I want and build a squad based on what we know about the players we already have here. So, obviously. Scott comes into that as an option but he is still contracted to Peterborough and we don't know what the situation is there, whether they will let him go on a free or wages wise so it's a conversation we need to have further down the line.'
