RUFC - Scott 'we've missed Alfie'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott thinks that the team has missed Alfie.

Adam Le Fondre began the season with the Millers, scoring four goals in five games before he moved to Reading at the end of August for what has been reported to be around £300,000. A fans favourite while with Rotherham, Alfie scored fifty-four league goals in the two seasons he was with the Millers as well as a handful of cup goals.

Speaking ahead of the Millers game with Plymouth at Don Valley, in which the corresponding game at Home Park in August, Alfie scored two goals in the Millers four-one win, Scott said, 'Alfie was a big part of what we did at Home Park that day and I think we've missed him.

'We started the season with him and did so well and then we lost him and we've struggled to score as many goals without him.'

What do you think? Have we missed Alfie? Should there have been someone to step into his role? Does one player mean that much difference to a side?
