'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Plymouth

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott was obviously pleased that his team picked up all three points at Don Valley on Saturday, though he did think they could have won a lot more comfortably than the one-nil scoreline.

Plymouth Manager, Carl Fletcher wasn't so happy and speaking to Radio Devon said, 'We knew it was going to be a fight and Rotherham were better than us today. We didn't do it well enough and we let ourselves down today.

'The penalty that Rotherham got just about summed up the ref's day really because he didn't give us anything all game and it seemed like he was dying to give something against us.

'We'd spoken about what it was going to be like playing at Don Valley all week. It was sunny one minute, windy the next and it was a bobbly pitch. But we knew it was going to be a fight and Rotherham were better at doing that than us today. If you give it your all and still get beaten then that's fair enough but we didn't do that today.'
