RUFC - Two more to be offered new deals

Rotherham United have offered new contract to Gareth Evans and Jason Taylor.

After the pair triggered contract clauses due to appearances, Millers Manager, Andy Scott told Radio Sheffield, 'Jason is signing a one-year extension, he's reached the amount of games.

'We're a little bit further away with Evans' contract because of different contract clauses it means it will probably take longer.'

Defender Jason joined the Millers in January 2009 on a free transfer from Stockport County and has played over eighty-five games and also had a loan spell with Rochdale.

Gareth joined Rotherham in the summer and initially signed a one-year contract. Due to injury he has only played twenty-four games although he has scored in six of those.
