RUFC - Scott pleased to have Evans back

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott is pleased that Gareth Evans is back in the team.

After having to sit on the sidelines with a thigh/back injury, the six foot winger has played in the last two games - the first for forty-five minutes against Plymouth and he managed the whole ninety minutes on Tuesday night against Torquay.

Speaking to MillersPlayer before tomorrow's game with Oxford, Scott said, 'I asked him a number of times throughout the second half on Tuesday if he was all right and he kept saying he was fine.

'To get through ninety minutes is a good thing for him and good news for us. Even if he'd have come off after sixty or seventy minutes it would have been a big plus for us.

'He was in the pool yesterday and we'll have a look at him today and hopefully his legs will have recovered and he'll be fresh and able to play.'
