Rotherham United's stand-in Manager, Darren Patterson was particularly pleased with the performance of striker, Ben Pringle tonight, who was played just behind the strikers.

Speaking after the win over Macclesfield Town, Patterson said, 'We've played his there the last two or three games and it hasn't quite come off for the boy but it did tonight. Off the ball his work rate was excellent too and he deserved his goal.'

Speaking about Alex Revell, Patterson carried on, 'We're delighted that he got a goal tonight because he's earned that. It's been coming.'

Talking about loanee, Kieron Cadogan, he said, 'He's a young boy and he's got to learn to position but he's so keen and he's another good signing by the gaffer (Andy Scott). I really do like his energy levels and he wants to do well and always comes and asks what he can do more. If he's not in the team he doesn't sulk and that tells me that the boy's got a chance. I also thought, apart from the first fifteen minutes, that Danny Schofield was excellent.'
