'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Crawley Town

Rotherham United's Caretaker Manager, Darren Patterson said he was frustrated after his side's three-nil loss against Crawley Town on Saturday after a first half that left him wondering why they hadn't gone in at half-time three or four up.

Crawley Town Manager, Steve Evans said he'd had to 'rattle one or two people' at half-time after, what he called, a poor performance.

Speaking to Radio BBC Sussex, the Red Devil's Manager said, 'We've got good strikers and good strikers will win matches. To be fair to Rotherham they were the better side for me in the first half but I think we completely dominated the second half.

'They will have gone home thinking they are fortunate that it was only three but it could have been a far different scoreline going into half-time than us leading by the one goal. It was a good victory for us and an important victory for us.'
