'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Prings 'we need stability'

Rotherham United midfielder/striker, Ben Pringle is calling for the new man to steady the ship.

Twenty-two year old Ben joined the Millers in the summer after Derby County told him he was free to find another club. After appearing in a handful of games until October last year, Prings became a forgotten man and didn`t feature again until March, when he scored the equaliser against Barnet to get the Millers a point at the Underhill Stadium.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, Prings said, 'It is crucial the next person who comes in stabilises everything and brings the lads closer together.`

To me this gives the impression that, although we have been told a number of times that all is well in the dressing room by the club, that maybe there has been a rift somewhere along the line.

Speaking about the new manager, whoever that may be, the former Derby players said, 'This will be a fresh start for everyone and I want to be in the new guy`s starting eleven and I`m sure the rest of the squad will be thinking the same.`
