RUFC - Patto Delighted for Sam

Rotherham United's caretaker Manager, Darren Patterson told MillersPlayer that he was delighted that Sam Hoskins got a goal today.

Sam, who is on loan until the end of the season, from Southampton, scored his first senior goal this afternoon, to give the Millers all three points against Wimbleon at Kingsmeadow with Patto saying. 'We've brought young Sam in to score goals. He's got lots and lots of pace and great energy.

'He's been scoring like that in training and I'm delighted that he's got an opportunity and that he scored.

'We lost our midfield a little bit and we put Danny (Harrison) on to shore that up and once we'd done that we put Sam on and it's nice when substitutions like that work.

'He's delighted with his first professional goal and I think you'll see a lot more from this boy goalswise because he's a goalscorer.'
