RUFC - Patto Leaves Millers

RUFC - Patto Leaves Millers

Rotherham United and Darren Patterson have parted company today after Steve Evans has taken over at the helm.

Patto joined the Millers as Assistant Manager to Andy Scott in June 2011 and was appointed caretaker manager in March this year after Scott was sacked. In the five game Patto was in charge of, the Millers won four of them.

Vital Rotherham understand that Patto was offered a job in the current regime but turned it down. A decision about the rest of the back-room staff will be made at the end of the season, although Chief Scout Andy Harris has also left the club.
It is thought that Evans' assistant at Crawley, Paul Raynor, will move with him to the Millers.

All at Vital Rotherham thank Patto for what he's done for the club and wish him well in his future
