RUFC - Millmoor Memories Wanted

Calling all Rotherham United fans!

Have you got some memories of Millmoor that you'd like to share? Well, now you can, at an event that will see both former and current* Millers players attending.

A special afternoon and evening has been set aside at Silverwood Miners Welfare on Doncaster Road on Tuesday, 24th April for you to share your memories of Millmoor and Rotherham United.

Speaking to the Official Site, project co-ordinator, Kathryn Wild said, 'The Silverwood event is a chance to meet people who have a story to share or maybe some interesting memorabilia, I'd really like to see ticket stubs, photos or important match day programmes - items that have a personal feel and can evoke memories & stories.

'We want to meet people with interesting memories to share. I'm really looking forward to meeting players from the 1960s squad to see how their stories compare to our current players.'

If this sounds like it's something that interests you and you want to know more then contact Kathryn on 01709 827767 or email heritage@rotherhamunited.net
