Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans is ruing the day that Nick Fenton was allowed to leave the club.
The thirty-two year old defender was released by the Millers in May last year and joined Morecambe before the start of this season, making thirty-eight appearances for the Shrimps and scoring three goals.
Speaking to the Football League Official Site, Evans said, 'You look at Nick Fenton and he was here, and you look as an outsider and question why he's not here now. He's a proper defender but it's all about opinions and it's no good talking about the old manager. I don't know Andy, but he seems a hard-working guy but if I was asked to name Morecambe's best four players Fenton and Kevin Ellison would both be in there.'
Nick won't be playing against his former club tomorrow due to a calf injury.
