Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans says that he will be having meetings before the weekend with certain players about their futures.
Having already released defender Richard Naylor today, speaking to MillersPlayer Evans said, 'We will try and be up front with the players if they aren't going to be involved in the match day squad for Saturday then it's only fitting to have conversations with them if time allows.
'Obviously I need to discuss things with the Chairman and the board first so as and when those meetings take place and whether players stay or go or if deals are extended it is most important that we let the fans know.
'I've said that it's the Chairman who owns the club and has put all the money in but we are really custodians and the real people are the fans and the first decision I've made is with Richard and it's important that the fans see this officially before they see it somewhere else.'
