RUFC - Chairman 'Children are the future'

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart, says that the children are the future of the football club.

Like at Don Valley, the club will be offering free admittance to the New York Stadium to Under eight year olds with any adult season ticket bought in the Ben Bennett Family Stand.

As well as that the club is offering a discount on family stand season tickets.

Speaking to Les Payne of The Star, Mr Stewart said, 'The children of today are the future of Rotherham United and as a family-focused club, we are committed to making the club accessible and affordable to all. In these tough economic times, we want to give something back to families to thank them for their continued support and I hope that by launching this new ticket initiative for the family stand, it will enable more of the local community to watch the Millers in our inaugural season at the New York Stadium.`

The Chairman will take part in a 'question and answer` session at the Carlton Park Hotel this evening alongside Manager Steve Evans, his assistant Paul Raynor and Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas. This forum has been organised by the Millers Trust.
