'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Fozzy released

Rotherham United have released defender Luke Foster today.

Twenty-six year old Luke joined the Millers in June last year signing a one-year deal, from Stevenage. Starting as a trainee with Sheffield Wednesday, Luke had loan spells with both Scarborough and Alfreton Town before joining Lincoln City. Having played a handful of games for the Imps and having another loan spell this time with York City, Luke moved out of league football to Stalybridge Celtic before being snapped up by Oxford United who he went on to make over one hundred appearances for. He left Oxford in 2010 for Mansfield Town and, after a season with them, he moved to newly promoted Stevenage.

Luke has only played six times for the Millers in a season that has been ravaged by injuries.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Fozzy good luck for his future.
