Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans said he was delighted with the Millers display at Don Valley on Saturday, although he knows there are areas that need improvement, after the one-all draw with Northampton Town.

Meanwhile, Northampton Town boss, Aidy Boothroyd, said that his team showed great character in the game.

Speaking to BBC Northampton, Boothroyd said, 'We had the character to keep going and I think it was a fair result and credit to us and Rotherham for putting on a fair performance.

'Adebayo Akinfenwa got his eighteenth goal. He has a wonderful relationship with the fans and he's done everything I've asked him to do. I'm glad he's got his goal at the end.'

Bayo himself said, 'It's never nice to lose the last game of the season so that was a nice way to sign off and the away fans were supporting us all the game through.

Goalkeeper, Neal Kitson also spoke after the game saying, 'I thought we defended well as a team today and that I, personally, I did well.'
