'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Gaffer will do what he has to do

Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans says that he will not be frightened to do what is for the good of the football club.

Speaking to the Official Site in his The Gaffer on Sunday column, Evans said, that, starting today he will interview each player individually and discuss, if he and his team, believe he has a future at the club.

'These meetings are never easy, but they have to be done, 'the Millers boss said.

'The decisions we`ve taken have been done with a great deal of care and I will not be frightened to do what is good for our football club.

'I have met with five potential new signings and the feeling I am getting is that we will have some new signings in place within the next ten days. The lads I have met are at present all from a higher level and would be great for us but as our supporters know these things take time.

'There is no doubt we will be stronger than this season and with the new stadium, plus being back home in Rotherham it really is all very exciting.`
